Istruzione 2025 understands the overwhelming need for educators to adapt and create new learning models in response to the rapid emergence of new technologies. It is our goal to research and outline models that not only enrich the learning process for students, but also equips them with the skills needed to fully participate in an interconnected digital world. For your benefit, our team provided a few examples of these model lessons in the following pages for your review.
T {21.gif} o achieve success, we believe the ideal learning environment of the future will require the cooperation of all stakeholders in the areas of curriculum, learning spaces, and sustainability.
As we have stated previously, the educational system in the United States that we know is obsolete. It was built upon ideas relevant to the industrial age. What is the purpose of education? What are the responsibilites of educators? These are questions we must ask. Education's main purpose is to prepare individuals to be functional and productive citizens in the world they live in.
As educators we need to prepare students not for the industrial age, but rather for the digital age. This is no easy task. We are preparing students for the 'unknown'. Technology is evolving at such a rapid pace, that we can only speculate at this point, what jobs will be available and what services and products will be necessary. Therefore, it is our reponsibility to teach students to think on their feet, to be problem solvers and critical thinkers.
We need to revamp the educational system to produce graduates who are confident, creater thnkers who are not only comfortable working on problems on their own, but have the know-how to work within a group setting and get the most out of it.
The graduates need to be socially adept at seeking out information and be willing to corroborate with others for solutions to problems. As different students have various talents, each person can fill in a piece of the puzzle.
Therefore, our firm has outlined how we can be the agents of change. We have designed a program to bring the educational system out of the industrial age and into the digital age and beyond. We want to empower our students to make the most out of each individuals experiences, skills and talents. In order for the United States to stay competitive in the ever changing global marketplace, we must address education now and we feel we are the consulting firm that can catapult this change forward.
Our firm is committed to a promising future. As we strive for the ultimate learning environment of 2025, we will assist in answering the call to adopting and adjusting school systems to model the very skills that will empower students of the 21st century and beyond.

Jing is a valuable tool to use for teachers. It allows an online version of the overhead, or actually, an upgraded overhead. Jing can be used in a couple of ways. One, is the teacher can provide a screenshot of a picture and share it with students. The picture can be marked in different ways: an arrow can be drawn to point out something in the picture. A detail in the picture can aso be circled or underlined. Most learners gain more from visuals than simply seeing text. Secondly, Jing allows the teacher to narrate the screenshot and point to certain areas with the mouse. A student, for example, who missed class and missed an overhead presentation, could get the same presentation by playing the Jing presentation. That is, of course, if the teacher, creates a Jing presentation. Like anything new, it takes a few minutes to learn how to use this software, but it is fairly straightforward and user-friendly.
Here is an example of a Jing prsentation I created for my German students. We were learning about the end of World War II and the allies who occupied Germany. I made this Jing presentation to allow students who missed class due to a field trip to have an overview of what we discussed. This allowed them to start homework, which was posted on Blackboard and not wait until they get to class to say, what did I miss.
