Teacher can embed this tool into the Classroom Management System.
By giving students access to the lectured information outside of class time, students are given the opportunity to view lecture at their own pace, and rewind sections that they need repeated.
Teacher may also utilize such webcasts to effectively "flip" their classroom. This process would move the "lecture"/ initial learning experience outside of class time, leaving the time given to face-to-face interactions to activities that would help students comprehend and maintain their knowledge of the information. Within the context of this lesson, the teacher would not need to teach what the acronym "SMART" stands for, instead she could give more time to practicing the skill. Class time could be given to group annotation practice as the "think aloud" modeling had already occurred outside the classroom.
